[Hsinchu Travel] Neiwan(內灣)

With the great air and natural scenery, Neiwan is a popular place for people in Hsinchu to go for relaxing stresses and get a feel of nature.

You can go to Neiwan by trains, cars, or by scooters.
We go to Neiwan by scooters, though we take a picture in front of the Neiwan train station.
Weather in Neiwan usually is good, though it situated into the mountain.

If you arrive by cars or scooters, you will see a parking lot beside the old historical street.
There are many parking lots around the Neiwan small old town.

You can park your transportation tool by the little temple.

There are some spaces for scooters to park.

It's kind nice that we can have a wonderful time walking on the street without the bother of cars.
People Only! From 11:00 to 1700.

There are plenty of Ginger Lily(野薑花)at the entrance of Neiwan street.

Neiwan is a small town in Hsinchu county.
People here lead an easygoing life.
They don't rush at all.
You can get feel of peace here, once you go into the town.

Houses remain old styles with the wooden doors.
Sometimes, you can even see the door left unlocked when there's nobody home.

It's quite exciting for me to see the toys I used to play when I was a kid.
There're some tasty traditional snacks as well.
It's hard to find these traditional toys in city now, so it's okay for me to buy one here with a little bit higher price then before.

Though the aged door seems unstable for the concern of security and safety, I'm kinda like this.
We should put as more attention as possible on protecting antique and cultural buildings, because the culture is our soul of living.

There're special spots in Neiwan for visitors like us to take shots.
The signpost can be a great decoration for beautiful girl like Jane to have amazing memories.

Let's take a look of this signpost closer.

An old post office

National flags hang on the iron gate.

It's really exciting for people living in city most of their life like me to witness something ancient.

People from other places forms a crowd here.
If you come here on weekends, then it's hard to get a feel of ease.

I've come here twice, once on weekends, the other on friday.
If you can only come here once, come here on weekdays.
By so doing, you can get the most feel of the true Neiwan.

Otherwise, I would recommend you come here twice to see the difference of Neiwan on weekdays and on weekends respectively.

The delicious fried Ginger Lily.
It costs 50NT dollars.

Neiwan Elementary school
Students have to go through a tunnel to go to school.
Trains will pass above the tunnel sometimes, though there's no many trains.

Let's go!

Cute playing field

It's quite cool on the side of school.
Maybe the crowded crowd make street full of heat, so it's hot there.

We can have a good view simply standing in front the classroom.

There're tons of dragonflies mating in the air.
It scares the girls beside me.

The breeze with dragonflies makes the place be filled with energetic atmosphere.

There are slogans for students to obey or to conduct.
有禮貌:Being polite to everyone
守秩序:being order in school

鍊身體:Exercise as much as possible
勤讀書:Read a lot of books
愛清潔:Keep neat everywhere

There's a train-shaped red slide.
It's really cute and amazing.
If I had this in my childhood, I would play with my classmates all day around it.

The map of Neiwan.
It's clear and beautiful.

Have you ever seen the flying chicken!
No kidding!
They're flying up to the fence from the ground below.

Fried stinky Tofu
It costs 40NT dollars.

It's peaceful beside the river.

It's time for bridge!

But before go though the stone-made bridge, let's have some snacks.
Ice cream!!
It only costs 5 NT dollars for one scoop, and so forth.
But!

It costs 18NT dollars for 4 scoops.
hahaha

After satisfying our stomachs, we can go on to satisfy our eyes with this!

Neiwan Suspension Bridge

We can tell that this bridge stands here for quite a long time.
There are some mottled parts on it.

Pass the bridge, you can see this!

Moai?
hahah

Am I on the Easter Island?

He has a big nose!

There's a beautiful tea house waiting for us.

The gate with two pretty girls.

It's so nice to have a cup of tea or coffee in this house!

 Heavy motorcycle.

With this, I believe owners can have a nice trip though this wiggle mountain.

The most important thing once you come to Neiwan is to feel the magnificence of mother nature.

The bridge of Neiwan.
